Decorating with shells & coral
Since summer is almost here, once again I am changing around my accessories in my home and have been getting ideas on how to display my shell collection. Decorating with shells and coral can add texture to a space. Shells can be used in many different decor such as Sophisticated, traditional, and modern. Coral is one of my favorite accessories not only does it bring in texture it can bring in color as well. Shells and coral can be collected over time as well on beach walks and vacations.

Style Icon Lauren Hutton
This weekend we are attending an auction. The theme is 70's Disco with a Studio 54 vibe. I needed some inspiration for my outfit and of course thought of Lauren Hutton the gorgeous stylish 70's Icon. She has been a style icon for over 40 years known for all American girl looks and gap tooth smile. Here are some of her earlier looks!

Recipe to try this weekend: Gwyneth Paltrows smoked mozzerella & slow roasted tomato crostini
As you may know by now, I am a big fan of Gwyneth Paltrow. I love her style and her blog GOOP. Last year she came out with a recipe book, I still want to buy, called My Father Daughter. I tried this appetizer at a friends party and it is wonderful. I will be making it again this weekend. It's great for an appetizer or a light meal. I have the link below to the recipe..... Have a Great Weekend!

I have a few parties in the next couple of weeks and want to do something different with my hair! I don't know if you have noticed the bevy of braids out there lately. Crown braids, french braids, fish tail braids, rope braids. They are not only cute they are functional as well keeping your hair up or out of your face. Here are a few to inspire you...
